Every City...

Needs to have a place like the Papered Parlour in London. It's an independent craft venue that hosts workshops, exhibitions and events. Sign me up! 

Colorful Contemporary Art...

I'm about to finish a large abstract painting that I have been working on, and am totally inspired by these contemporary pieces. Each artist has a unique style and uses vibrant contrasting colors. 1. Malene Landgreen 2. Kate Long Stevenson 3. Lindsay Brooks (currently showing in NYC)

I want to try out this yummy Green Apple and Celery Salad, with Young Pecorino, Walnuts and Mustard Vinaigrette - that I found on Sunday Suppers site.

I spotted this DIY fabric headboard on House of Turquoise and am loving this funky print with blues. I have been looking for a fun fabric that ties in the colors of my room. Found!

A Few Things...

Bid for T's + Help NYC Schools...

Playwork Group set out on a creative venture to raise money for PENCIL, a non-profit that works to improve education in NYC's schools. City artists, stylists and designers collaborated to design t-shirts for live auction on ebay. Above are Lily Donaldson's hand-drawn peepers, Erin Wasson's quotable tank, and Tracy Feith's ripped, colorful number. Bidding starts at just $40. {images via Refinery29}

Neil Roake's traveled around to his friend's homes to put together a collection of unique recipes for his new cookbook Shiny Happy People. The pictures and mosaics of food and knick knacks are visually inviting. Can't wait to dive into the heart and soul of the recipes too! 

Bright White...
