Horse Admiration...

These horses strike the most interesting poses for the home. I would take any of the photographs above and hang them up on our large blank living room walls. {apartment therapy, le fashion, delight by design}
Once Again...
I'm sick:( This is an all time record. How is it possible to have been sick at least 3-4 times since October? My doctor recommended allergy testing, I just want to feel better! {image via toujours amoureux}

Old Fashioned Bathtub...
I'm partial to the look and leisure of old fashioned bathtubs mixed with perfectly styled spaces. {images via pink wallpaper, neutral heaven, sanctuary, habitually chic, daisy pink cupcake, door sixteen} Indiana Jones-ette...
Always a hat lover, I particularly like this one - with an Indiana Jones flair. {image via Jeune Marie}

Colorful Pillows...
What a great find! These pillows from Swedish duo Adam & Viktoria's collection are beautiful, I love all of the rich colors and designs.
Happy Monday...
I didn't get to wish you all a Happy Friday because the end of my week was so busy! So Happy Monday. (Sounds like a bit of an oximoron doesn't it?) Have a wonderful week. x {image via I'm Just a Girl Wishing for the World}

Sounds of the Day...
I was wishing tickets would magically fall into my hands for the past three nights of shows in NYC. But sadly, I did not get to see Vampire Weekend at Webster Hall. I love the new cd, even more than their last. Have you heard the story about the photo?
Farm Table...
One of my favorite things I own is a large farm table where I host dinners. When I saw this home a few years back on the cover of Domino I went searching for that floral fabric and seagrass solid to compliment the feel. For now I have all wooden chairs but tag this as my 'someday style'. I love everything about this room and palette. {image via beautiful things to share}
Sitting Pretty...
This love seat covered in black, paired with the crystal chandelier, cowhide rug and large leaning mirror make for a pretty fabulous sitting area. {image via Emmas Design Blog}

What's Your 20 in Twenty Ten?
My father always used to say, "places to go, people to see, things to do". In 2010 on Walking Around, we'll be doing all of the above. Two Mondays a month I'll be sharing a little travel round-up on special destinations. First up, a trip to the slopes in New England. Where are the best mountains nearby with luxury, relaxation and amazing terrain for skiiers and snowboarders? My friend Ethan writes the ski guru blog for the Boston Globe and he picks the top 10 slopeside hotels. Here are my fave:
Mount Washington Hotel, NH
Stowe Mountain Lodge, VT
Stratton, VT
Sugarloaf, ME
Roarke NYC Jewelry...
Friends have been accesorizing outfits with these beaded chiffon beauties for months. I missed the Roarke NYC trunk show last December and have added their headbands and necklaces to my 2010 wishlist.
Southern Style Glam Kitchen...

This is one of the most unique kitchen styles I have seen. And I adore its charm. ' The sink is like a buffet. The refrigerator is like a china cabinet. And the stove is like a sideboard.' This Alabama home was remodeled and it's kitchen has that dining room feel. To view all rooms visit House Beautiful.January 15, 2010
Glass Bubbles...
Lindsey Adelman is a new obsession for me, I came across her studio online and found the most beautiful hand-blown glass light fixtures and installations.

Bold Boudoir...
I ♥ this loveseat, bold lamps, splashes of hot colors and black and white print above the bed. It's a room that is simple enough to be classic with it's clean lines, but with its risk taking in patterns, is a bold boudoir. {image via little green notebook}
