"And live on what?"
"Love."
Slumdog Millionaire is up for awards as one of the best films of 2008. It's my favorite so far. It's a story about Jamal Malik, an 18 year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, (locations of the latest terrorist attacks recently in India). Jamal appears on a game show and exceeds people's expectations, raising suspicions from the game show host and law enforcement before he answers the last question, that he has cheated. Desperate to prove his innocence, Jamal tells the story of his life in which each chapter reveals the answer to one of the game show’s questions. Suspenseful and brilliant, this movie reveals hopeful triumph in love and life.
