Buttermilk pancakes...

I made this at cooking club almost two years ago, the recipe was requested many times...finally here it is!

1 c flour
2 T sugar
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 c buttermilk
1 large egg
1 T unsalted butter melted

In a mixing bowl, stir together the dry ingredients. Make a well in the center and add remaining ingredients, whisking buttermilk and egg till batter is smooth. Heat griddle, and melt butter on the pan, cook pancakes until bubbles form on top.

For the syrup, add sliced apples and a teaspoon of cinnamon in a non-stick skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes. Pour this goodness over the pancakes and serve.
