Before my friend showed up to my apartment last night, I said...bring something sweet! Little did I know she was stopping off at the store to pick up chex mix, peanut butter and chocolate chips...I had never tried this quick and dirty recipe before, it was gluttonous & good.
CHOCOLATE PEANUT CHEX TRASH
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c butter
1 c peanut butter
(add t vanilla extract)
2 c confectioners' sugar
7 c rice Chex
Melt first three ingredients. Add rice Chex and mix thoroughly. Mix Chex mixture and confectioners' sugar in large "trash bag" and shake. Transfer into bowl, cool in the freezer for 20 minutes and serve.
