Surf Camps...

I'm ready to ditch winter...Here is a round up of a few surf camps I posted awhile back.

Safari Surf School - With two locations in Costa Rica - Nosara and Mal Pais Safari, you can't get better than the "Pura Vida" package. Transportation, luxury accomodations, Food, activities and all for 4-6 people at $14k.

Nancy Emerson School of Surfing - At Maui’s top surf camp, Nancy Emerson’s golden retriever, Apache, greets you. Located in Lahaina, a resort town on the west coast, the camp lasts five days. By the end of it, you’ll be reading reef breaks and hanging ten like a pro.

Paskowitz Surf Camp - The oldest wave-riding school in Southern California runs from mid-June to late August. The five-day sessions take place at Tourmaline Surfing Park, at the northern end of San Diego’s Pacific Beach.

Central Florida Surf School - Learn from Lou Maresca, who has operated Central Florida Surf School since 1993. Ask him to take you to Sebastian Inlet, just north of Vero Beach, for an easy session.

Billabong Surf Camps - In addition to offering hip surf-themed fibers, the surfing megabrand actually hosts some decent surf camps throughout the country, especially in the Northeast, where the camps stretch from New Jersey to Rhode Island. And, yes, goodie bags are included.
