I went to a party for The Windmill Movie at the new West Village boutique hotel Jane. The famed duo behind the Waverly Inn created this very cool space. The long galley style bar opens up to a grand hotel lobby with an upper deck bar area/lounge as well. An outdoor area is in the works and they are attracting people with Monday movie night from “up the river,” and live music on Tuesdays. I didn't view the cabin style rooms, but word is - their small (like all nyc hotel rooms). On the plus side they have flatscreens, MP3 Dock/Radio and DVD player, free wifi, and everything is new and clean. They start at $75/night. Can't beat that!
