My Birthday Wish...

One month away is my birthday. Yay! I love long tables in a rustic setting where everyone can talk to one another and roam. My wish is to have a bonfire at Peabody's Beach in Newport, starting early with bocce, and badminton and then dining by the sea and candlelight with family and friends. On the to do list:

Make a list of friends and send a save the date!
Come up with Menu and designate duties
Buy beach friendly tableware & glasses
Get a long table, chairs, tablecloth & napkins
Collect vases and unique containers from family for flowers on the table
Buy votives and lanters
Borrow bocce set
Get ipod speakers with long battery life
Get wood for bonfire
Pick up cases of beer & wine
Stock coolers with Ice
Buy long sticks and S'mores supplies
Make a dinner and post dinner playlist
Bring a few blankets
Make placecards
