Every City...
Needs to have a place like the Papered Parlour in London. It's an independent craft venue that hosts workshops, exhibitions and events. Sign me up!

Juicy in England...

Gela Nash Taylor, co-creative director of Juicy Couture, has an English country hideway that looks like a dream. Donned South Wraxall Manor, it's her home away from California Juicy headquarters, that is formal and romantic. Reading the story in last month's Vogue makes you want to jump into this manor immediately. In fact, I'm pretty sure Gela and I were switched at birth, because I could definitely see myself the head of a fashion empire and married to the bass player for Duran Duran, having elaborate dinner parties and suited in designer gowns on the cricket lawn. The closest I came was galavanting in the guest home and maze of Anne Bolelyn's Castle in Kent with my then British boyfriend's mates, singing many Robbie Williams songs, terribly. Maybe in the next life;) August 21, 2008
A London excursion...
Littlehampton is a beautiful beach town, 20 minutes from Chichester, 30 minutes from Brighton and 90 minutes from London. West Beach with boating lakes, pretty parks and a nature reserve with rare birds, is a great place for a walk after a long relaxing lunch at The East Beach Cafe. If you're feeling more energetic, there are tennis courts, golf and a good pitch and putt course, all open year round. Bring a cricket set or a kite and play on the green behind the beach, or even try your hand at kitesurfing.
