Palms...

I've decided that everything I collect for the rest of the week will be summery. I love this wallpaper, and everything else about this room, brassy dining table, black leather chairs - so retro and chic. And doesn't that first image just make you want to change into a bikini and sunbathe? {images via coco & kelley, elle decor}

Gray + White...

Soft shades of gray are my favorite - and I happen to be head to toe in gray and white today. This bedroom is beautiful and I adore this tunic from J. Crew. {image via abbey goes design scouting}

Camper's Delight...

I found this great site, written by a group of people who wrote The Happy Campers, that reviews camp sites all over Europe. They are spreading the camping love online with recipes, readers' guides and more. I ♥ camping.

I Feel Like Cooking Tonight...

I had the most fabulous meals this weekend. Hotel Griffou was a great spot to discover with friends - as we devoured the lobster fondue and I can never get enough of Morandi - Burrata and Pasta Bolgonese is the perfect Sunday meal. I'm in the mood for a little chefness in my kitchen. My specialty is Penne alla Vodka - here very simple recipe. Enjoy! {image via dress design decor}

1 Jar of Classico Tomato Basil Sauce
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
8 basil leaves - chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 (32-ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
¼ cup Vodka
½ c heavy cream
1 lb penne
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper

Sauté garlic in olive oil for a minute to two minutes on high, reduce heat to medium, add basil and pour in tomato sauce. Add crushed tomatoes (blend in food processor beforehand). Reduce to low heat, add vodka, stir for 5-10 minutes and add heavy cream and salt and pepper to taste.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling water (add pinches of salt and tablespoon of olive oil) until al dente, tender stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.

Drain the pasta and transfer it to the back to the pot, pour the tomato and cream sauce over pasta and cover with parmesan cheese and serve.

Simple + Natural...

This room looks so pretty and relaxing. I love the perspective of the photo with the chandelier front and center. {image via haute design}

Wait For Me...

This looks like an adventurous little crew that makes me curious. I'd like to follow the mini circus line and find out where it leads. Wouldn't this make a great album cover? {by  Eugenio Recuenco via escapade}

Golden Yellow...

I am recently drawn to this shade of yellow that is bright and strong like the sun. {images via anthropologie, tiny white daisies, someday hopes}

Centerpiece...

This dining space is simplistic. I love the retro round dining table and the fantastically large colored vases with blossoms are heavenly. {image via lavender and lilies}

I saw this gorgeous bedroom in the April Lonny a few weeks ago and have been swooning over it ever since. Everything is lovely, it even has a fireplace!

Jeans, white tee, khaki colored jacket - and pile on the gold! I love the layers of necklaces and bracelets. {image via the sartorialist}

Collections 101...

I've never been much of a collector. A list maker yes! But I haven't sought out specific items to collect. I've always thought it would have been nice along the way to know all of the restaurants I have been to, all over the world. Or all of the wine's that I have loved - so I guess if I had to choose for those reasons, it would be corks and matchbooks! But if I were to collect for beauty, it would be vintage all the way - plates, bottles, postcards or just knick knacks. I found this site - A Collection A Day - and picked a few of my favorites.

Spread the Love...

Just as I sat down to butter my cinnamon raisin bagel this morning, I read Bianca's 'Take 5' on Fern & Feather, and found this adorable poster. I just LOVE!

Pink Paper Lanterns...

I love these paper lanterns, either clustered together or hanging centered on their own, they have a fun whimsical effect. {image via a diary of lovely, dress design decor}

Office Crush...

I'd like this to be my office please. What's not to love about this room? Tufted cozy chair, laquered desk, black built-in bookcase, beautiful artwork and a lovely view. {image via journeys of mangonett}

Happy Friday...

Well, lovelies, I don't about you, but I'm happy that it's Friday! It's been a very interesting week. I'm so looking forward to seeing friends in town from California, enjoying the sunshine and laying low. Ps. I did a mini-blog makeover, I hope you like the new header! xo {image via pink wallpaper}

Sydney + Pretty Beach House...

Pretty Beach House is a private guesthouse situated about 60 miles north of Sydney on the Bouddi Peninsula. Set high above the beach and nestled into a National Park, guests stay in this tranquil private home with 7 1/2 acres surrounding, with 3 one bedroom suites, where all meals, snacks and drinks, including wines and champagnes, are included as part of the hospitality. The Main House, has an atrium style dining and lounging area, intimate cocktail bar, wine cellar, open fireplace plus infinity pool and deck for relaxing. See you all later, I'm about to dive in that pool and dry off in the sun on the chaise lounge;) I wish!

Afternoon Delight...

Something salty and something sweet - fries & ice cream sandwiches. I have to admit, I had always been a bit more of a salt lover vs. chocolate, now I'd say it's pretty equal. I'm craving one of these two treats;) How about you? {images via erin ever after,  wit + delight}

Apricot...

I love short films. APRICOT - Short Film by Ben Briand (sponsored by his incredible actors and crew) from Moonwalk Films on Vimeo. {via stephanie says}

Picnic Obsession...

I have been collecting every photo I see recently that has an outdoor picnic scene. It's a mini-obsession;)

I'd like to drive up in that very cool car and park for a picnic with champagne! {image via journeys of a mangonett}

Watermelon, wildflowers and stripey tablecloth, yes please. {image via design sponge}

Lemonade and daisies on a plaid blanket. Perfect. {image via design sponge}
